In The Lab: Ciena's WaveLogic Ai Tunable Capacity Demo

Step inside Ciena's Ottawa R&D Lab with senior hardware design engineer Will Leckie for a live demo of Ciena's new WaveLogic Ai coherent chipset that show the various transmission rates and coherent modulation formats that WaveLogic Ai supports.

Will also shows off Ciena's two new cards using WaveLogic Ai -- one for our 6500 Packet-Optical Platform and one for our new Waveserver Ai platform for data center interconnect (DCI). He also unveils Ciena's new stand-alone WaveLogic Ai 5x7 module available through our distribution partners (Lumentum, NeoPhotonics and Oclaro).

WaveLogic Ai brings higher performance, intelligence, and programmability to optical networks, as well as the industry's first single-carrier 400Gb/s capability.
