Dr. Jeff Andrews At Texas Wireless Summit (RCR Interview)

Former WCNG director Jeff Andrews summarizes key themes from this year's Texas Wireless Summit: the cellular network is evolving into a video network and the growing capabilities of location-based services. Another theme at the summit was 5G. Andrews says eventually 4G will be congested and exponential growth must be enabled. He says there are three ways: Use spectrum at much higher frequencies, deploy devices with hundreds of tiny antennas, and make networks more and more dense.
