Introducing Ciena’s 5G Router Family

Joe Marsella, Ciena’s VP of Packet Networking Product Line Management, provides an overview of the importance of xHaul (fronthaul, Midhaul, backhaul) transport networks to 5G mobile networks. Joe also provides an overview and demo of Ciena’s new family of purpose-built 5G routers, which will allow Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and wholesale operators alike to successfully rollout 5G mobile network services with a reliable and scalable wireline network that connects radios to each other, to data centers hosting accessed content, and everything in between.
