HP Talks NFV’s Present And Future; Carriers’ Interests

HP vice president for NFV business, Werner Schaefer, was interviewed by RCR Wireless News’ Roberta Prescott during Futurecom event in Brazil. He talked about the begging and the evolution of the network functions virtualization (NFV).

“NFV is very much driven by carriers themselves and there’s a huge interest from carriers. But when we talk about the adoption as taking the technology into the network, we are involving in two dozen proves of concepts around the world and all continents,” Schaefer said.
