SoftLayer Social Media Ninja Kevin Hazard provides a basic explanation of how SoftLayer data center CRAC units work. In this tour Kevin takes you into Pod 1 of SoftLayer's DAL05 facility. Since it was "truck day" at SoftLayer the pod was quite busy and Kevin found an area of the pod that was going to be filled soon with new servers.
The data centers can be very loud, so please turn down your volume in advance since Kevin has to yell his explanation over the background noise!
