One of the biggest challenges with building small cell networks is providing cost-effective, reliable, scaleable backhaul. A range of solutions are available, including lit and dark fiber, microwave (both LOS and nLOS) and ethernet. Each type of backhaul has its own benefits and drawbacks, and costs vary for each solution. This session will discuss the issues surrounding providing backhaul for small cells, and present solutions that are being deployed today.
