2012 TIA: Breaking Down Vertical Silos To Accelerate Innovation

Alcatel Lucent CMO, Allison Cerra, showcases what is possible when the mobile ecosystem breaks down vertical industry silos to accelerate innovation. Connect service vehicle prototype was showcased at 2012 TIA. Prototype is part of an NG Connect program that includes 180 companies from across multiple industries. Goal of NG Connect to to find and prove new business caes for mobile technology and next generation networks.

Perhaps the wish of a self driving car, equipped with lazy boy recliners, serving up on-demand movies and location based Starbuck's coupons as we drive down the freeway is a not too distant reality.
