Lecture 38 Data Center Cabling

Data centers are one of the fastest growing applications of technology, expanding to satisfy the demand for Internet videos, Cloud Computing and the whole world's demand for data. A lot has been written and said about data centers, covering design, power. cooling, security, but less on the options for cabling.
Here the FOA presents an unbiased view of cabling based on our own research and feedback from those we know designing them and building them. We cover not only fiber optics but copper cabling and how the design of the switches and servers can affect cabling choices.
