News out of EMEA, Chinese media is reporting that China Mobile is phasing out its five-year-old TD-SCDMA network, which support 3G service. The 3G network, which was developed in China, was rolled out in 2009. Reports suggest China Mobile will stop expansion of its 3G network in favor of 4G. The TD_SCDMA is different from predominant tech, which is based on international CDMA 2000 and WCDMA standards.
